Describe the biggest hurdle or problem you faced before working with us and how did you feel?

The biggest hurdle was not having someone outside of colleagues to go to for assistance while being new and inexperienced. I’ve been fortunate enough to have great colleagues who would lend a hand, but I didn’t feel great not paying people for their time (most of them would not accept money!).

I would have long lists of questions but would hesitate to ask them all to colleagues since there wasn’t much to offer them in return. Stress would build up quickly, especially if I spent long periods of time trying to figure out complex tasks on my own.

I felt intimidated by the idea of new clients and would be much more nervous when I got a new client. I felt emotionally heavier when I didn’t have a reliable source of assistance I could pay for. I would feel ‘stuck’ much more.

How has working together impacted what you do and how do you feel now?

Working together has taken a weight off my shoulders. I know I can easily schedule meetings at the click of the button and get guidance as well as questions answered. I have much more peace of mind.

I’ve also learned a tremendous amount in a short period of time working with Pachira. I feel like some concepts are learned fastest through interactive engagement which is what the screen-sharing video conferences provide.

What would you say to someone who is on the fence about choosing Pachira? Would you recommend our services?

I would tell someone to view it as an investment, not an expense. The value of gaining confidence, having support and getting work done faster is very high. It greatly increases one’s ability to onboard more and higher quality clients in the future. I’d rather invest in coaching and become a better bookkeeper faster than improve my skills at a much slower rate on my own. The peace of mind is really important for me as well- stress sucks!

What are you planning to do next?

I still have about a couple of months set to work with Pachira. I’ll see how it goes and re-evaluate how much support I’ll need in May! For now, I’m learning so much and super grateful for these services! Thanks guys, you rock! 🙂
